Nha Phu Lagoon is about 15 km north of Nha Trang city center, between Nha Trang Bay and Van Phong Bay. The lagoon is nearly 1,500 hectares wide, featured with close-up red tile houses, next to the aquaculture and seafood area of the local people and anchored for fishing boats. The area around Nha Phu lagoon has diverse landscapes with mountains, forests, streams, waterfalls, and the sea. The islands off the coast still retain pristine features such as Hon Lao, Hon Thi, and Hon Heo, suitable for tourists’ day tours.

Leaving Nha Phu lagoon, visitors can continue their journey to Doc Let, one of the most pristine and beautiful beaches in Khanh Hoa province. This place is located about 50 km north of Nha Trang city, has a long coastline, flat sand, smooth white, and surrounded by gentle hills. Tourist services here include water motorcycles, parachutes, seafood parties at affordable prices. In 2014, the world-famous travel guide Lonely Planet ranked Doc Let in the top 8 most beautiful beaches in Vietnam.

From Ninh Hoa center, follow Highway 26B for more than 10 km, you will reach salt-making villages such as Ninh Diem and Hon Khoi. Visitors can experience a day working in salt fields with salt farmers. This work is highly dependent on the weather. The sunnier the sun, the better the season of salt, while the rain will make the salt not hard enough.
