How to get to Hon Kho Island from Quy Nhon city?
Hon Kho Island is located in a population of 32 islands near the shore of Binh Dinh province, about 19km from Quy Nhon city. Hon Kho is beautiful, peaceful, and soft, not as dry as its name suggests.

If you are self-sufficient you can rent a taxi from Quy Nhon city center for comfort and coolness. If you want to go grafting to Hon Kho Island, you should go early between 8 – 10 am because this is the most crowded time, easier to find people to join. Taking a grafted boat costs about 100,000 VND / 1 round-trip ticket, renting a private boat (10 seats) about 500,000 VND / boat / 1 round-trip ticket, canoeing about 200,000 VND / 1 round-trip ticket, renting a private boat ( 15 seats) about 1,200,000 VND / cano / 1 round trip ticket.
Hon Kho has very few trees and almost no trees are taller than the head, so it is extremely sunny. So if you do not want to go out to have a honey skin, you should fully equip a hat and sunscreen! The water bars here are just small huts built temporarily, so you can actively prepare some drinking water and snacks to bring.
In particular, currently on Hon Kho beach there is no hotel or homestay. If you want to rest here and enjoy the night view of the sea, you can only return to the Nhon Hai fishing village to rent a hotel. Currently, the fishing village has only two small hotels, Nhon Hai Beach Hostel and Ca Home. The rooms here are also quite few, so it’s best to book early so you don’t miss your schedule.
