Ba Be Lake

About 240 km from Hanoi, Ba Be Lake is located in the center of this national park, Ba Be district, Bac Kan province.

The cave has been naturally shaped during the many-thousand-year process of geological changes. It is 700 meters in length and in some places, the cave opens up and is 50 meters in height.
Inside the cave, there are thousands of stalagmites and stalactites of different shapes; some look like small towers, and others are like a statue of the Goddess of Mercy or a formal court of mandarins in the feudal time.
Puông Cave
Being a two-headed cave, the Puong cave is 300 meters long, more than 30 meters high withstanding cliffs and stalactites of various shapes and colors, formed when the Nang River flows through the bottom.
