The Hanoi Museum construction project is in a series of constructions commemorating 1000 years of Thang Long – Hanoi such as Hoa Binh park, Uncle Ho monument, Vinh Tuy bridge… The museum was started construction on 19 / 5/2008 and inaugurated on October 6, 2010, right at the time of the festival.
From 2010 up to now, the Hanoi Museum has displayed a lot of documents and artifacts imprinting the history, culture and education of Hanoi capital over thousands of years of existence. It can be said that the Hanoi museum is the place to clearly reproduce the 1,000-year history of Hanoi capital.
The first impression of visitors to the Hanoi Museum for the first time is the unique design of the museum. The overall shape of the museum is designed to grow from bottom to top, like a prominent inverted pyramid.
The museum’s campus is extremely large, with trees to create shade, flower gardens and trees create paths and fountains in the main hall for visitors to freely walk, freely record impressive moments.
Not only strongly impressed by the exterior design, but inside the Hanoi museum also makes tourists extremely excited by the spiral-shaped 4-story design similar to the eye-catching image of a flying dragon.
Currently the museum owns more than 10,000 artifacts and documents related to the thousand-year-old capital to serve visitors to visit and learn about the history.
