Day 3: Pepper garden – fish sauce-making house – Phu Quoc Prison – Sunset Sanato
There are many pepper gardens in Phu Quoc, mainly located in Suoi May hamlet, Suoi Da hamlet. Currently, visitors can visit the pepper gardens Duc Thanh, Duc Ninh, Tuan Viet, Ngoc Ha for free. After visiting, taking pictures, and learning about pepper growing, you can buy products from the pepper.
The fish sauce-making house is also an interesting destination because the profession of making fish sauce from anchovies is a long-standing traditional profession of the Phu Quoc people. Hong Duc, Phung Hung … are some of the stops that tourists can both watch and buy fish, dried squid, fish sauce … of good quality. Visiting houses to make the fish sauce is usually free of charge.
Phu Quoc prison is located at 350 Nguyen Van Cu, An Thoi town. There are exhibits of artifacts and old prison simulators with almost the same location. Day 4: Rach Vem fishing village – Duong Dong market – Ocsen Beach Bar
Rach Vem fishing village – Starfish beach is 24 km from Duong Dong town center. You should carefully ask people the way to avoid getting lost. The fishing village has many raft houses, floating wooden bridges on the sea, concentrating seafood restaurants. Starfish beach near the fishing village is a “selfie paradise” for everyone with coconut trees, beautiful beaches, and starfish lying on the shore.
In Rach Vem, starfish season is from November to April. In May and June, there are still starfish but not many. Take photos with starfish, you should pay attention not to pick up from the water, avoid touching because they easily die when lacking water. Note that the road to Rach Vem is quite bad, with a lot of red, dusty, rugged, rocky, and few inhabitants.

Ocean Beach Bar is located at 118/10, Tran Hung Dao Street, is also a “great” sunset viewing spot in Phu Quoc.
